Africa: Local Posts Sign Agreements With Posts From African Countries
12-Apr-2010Tunis — Tunisian Posts has recently signed a series of partnership agreements with posts from African countries, as well as launching a new product offering investment and the setting up of a new virtual office.
Following the signing of agreements with 14 African countries including Mauritania, Algeria, Burkina Faso, Egypt and Senegal, Tunisian Posts also signed agreements with other countries such as Cote d 'Ivoire, Congo, Mauritius, Uganda and Liberia.
Concluded in line with the recommendations of the Pan-African Technology Conference "Technopost Africa 2010", which was held from March 16 to 18, 2010, in Tunis, these agreements allow the Tunisian Post and different signatories to further stimulate bilateral cooperation between Tunisia and African countries.
These agreements aim at implementing joint projects for the development of electronic postal and financial services, promoting online training via the Internet and personal managers as well as the manufacture of postage stamps and philatelic products to the printing of the Tunisian post .
Tunisian Post recently launched its new product, "SICAV TANIT", an investment company with a variable bond-type capital.
Among the various offers provided by Tunisian Posts offers is the possibility to conclude secured online purchase transactions , managing one's their digital postal account, keeping a Giro and savings account, while following up of shipments made in accessing the virtual office at "www.guichetnet.poste.tn".
